2008 is the ruby anniversary year for the greatest science fiction film in motion picture history, 2001: A Space Odyssey. When I first began the 2001 exhibit campaign in 1998, it was the beginning of a wonderful experience with the help of many fans from around the world. Two events are reviewed, "2001 in 2008: a cinematic odyssey" and "The Jules Verne Festival celebrates the 40th Anniversary of 2001: A Space Odyssey".
