2010 Models: Lunar Models's Discovery Model (2010 version)

The model takes his origin from the well known garage kit company Lunar Models. It was built as a 2001 version for my special issue 2001: l'OdyssČe des Maquettes, and I changed it to commemorate the new Odyssey. A lot of things were done on it to transform it: adding details overall the ship as pipes running on the spine, changed position of the door, detailed the Command Module, built new "collar" behind the CM, built new bells motor (by my friend Olivier Herman) and many, many other things (as molding new storage tanks).

I personally think it is now far better now than it was, not because it is "new" but mainly because the Lunar Models Discovery kit was based on the plans of Shane Johnson that are based on the 2010 movie version! If I right, it is the first time a 2010 Discovery is built.
