2010 Models: Planet X's Leonov (TITOV) Model

The model was a garage kit produced by Planet X years ago. It one of the two Kits produced about 2010 movie. It is a resin model with white metal parts. It is loosely based on the not accurate at all! Plans that we can find currently on EBay. The resin is very brittle, so precautions were taken to assemble this vessel that has nothing to do with the original, superb and BEAUTIFUL Leonov model used from the SFX of the sequel.

It is because I decided to call it TITOV as per the book and the beginning of the movie. I followed the instruction sheet and gave personal finish in painting it a blue grey and adding xeros markings to give it interesting surfaces other than with paint only.
The Titov stands over a wood base with a special nameplate. I wanted it to look as a desk model for approval design by the Soviet Supreme Polybureau officers!
