The Gallery

Gallery is about 2001: A Space Odyssey art by individuals inspired by the movie visuals and symbolism. Since 2001 would be considered a masterpiece in its own right, Stanley Kubrick had many elements in the film that he obviously was fond of the arts. Christiane Kubrick, wife of the late director, is well known for her beautiful paintings and sculptures. The San Mateo 2001 collectible exhibit did not have the space to showcase original works from artists from around the world, so we hope to do so in our next exhibition.

We explore a gallery of works by today's artists who are inspired by 2001 as well as the actual artists who gave Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. Clarke visuals of the future.
