The Airspace Systems program is part of the NASA strategic enterprise goal to revolutionize aviation by safely accommodating increased demand for flights through the US National Airspace System with less delay. To realize this objective the program manages eight projects that address specific areas of improvement.
Working in cooperation with the Federal Aviation Administration, the airlines, and industry, Airspace Systems is creating a vision for the future of aviation that will safely accommodate the projected growth in air traffic, and continue to be responsive to the needs of aviation communities around the globe.
This program is no longer active.
