1THE DAWN OF MAN
The first stage is called the "Dawn of Man" in the beginning
of the movie, man has been on Earth for four million years, and we are
looking at the extinction of mankind as men-apes on the African plain
are struggling for their survival. A higher intelligence or a black monolith
that gives mankind a chance of survival with the power of the tool visits
the man-apes. Four million years later, in space, we are aboard a Pan
Am Space Clipper carrying an important executive to an orbiting space
station. Once docked, we are greeted by the station security who will
guide us until the next shuttle flight to the moon.
Once we land on the moonbase,
we are debriefed in a secret meeting about an important find that has
been discovered in the crater, Tycho. This secret find is the most significant
discovery in the history of mankind, but the news is withheld from the
public because of the fear of shock and social disassociation. The executive
and moon party are flown to the crater to look at the discovery; there
we see the same black monolith we saw in the beginning of the film. The
black monolith has been giving off a high-pitched radio signal into space
for an unknown purpose after four million years. Next page
