| Nov. 7, 2001: Greetings from Dennis Gonzales 33 years later.
If you have a special story or memory about "2001: A Space Odyssey", why don't you post it on the Retrospect page at http://www.2001exhibit.org/acceptit_3/ldisplay.cgi?deluxe. My final public exhibition, "The Art of the Yellow Submarine" starts on November 8. I'll be on "The Norman Bates Memorial Soundtrack Show", hosted by Robert Emmett via Internet at http://www.kfjc.org or if you're in the San Francisco bay area, tune in at 89.7 FM, Saturday, November 10th. The show starts at 9 AM to 10 AM (PST). We'll be spinning the George Martin score, trailer films, out-takes, weird, odds and ends from the film. If you're in Belgium, Europe, make sure to visit Jean Marc Deschamps 3rd and final exhibition of "2001 : l'Odyssée des Maquettes" at the Euro Space Center from 25 October to 6 January 2002. Jean Marc reports that exhibition will be the same, with more models and more pictures, and models box art. This could possibly be the last "2001" exhibit of the year! Don't miss out! Derek Heatly from Belfast, N. Ireland is one of the biggest "2001: A Space Odyssey" and space exploration fans I know of. From the shores of Kennedy Space Center to Ireland's "Colonnade War Memorial" of 13 rectangular slabs, he shares with us the world of "2001" in the Gallery section under a new feature called, "2001: Places of the World". http://www.2001exhibit.org/arts/2001world_places.html To contact Derek, email him at derekheatly@ntlworld.co.uk or write: 13c Farmhurst Green, Braniel, Belfast BTS 7PB, N. Ireland. The USA exhibits category in the Exhibits section has been updated with a new feature called "2001: Odyssey to the Future" from OCSS President, Larry Evans. Visit http://www.2001exhibit.org/exhibits/usa.html Keep sending email to me on the latest "2001" news and keep checking the press section for updates. http://www.2001exhibit.org/2001expo.html Thank you.
