Greetings from Dennis Gonzales
33 years later.

After recent events in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C., like most of Americans, it's hard to get into work, sports or discuss about your favorite topics. My nephew has been called in for active duty (high-alert status) and will not tell us where he is going. So a lot is on my mind. Running a popular web site is half the fun when you can reach out to people all over the world with the same interests. This is true for 2001: A Space Odyssey Collectibles Exhibit. But the other half of the fun is getting people involved in the site. Making new friends and creating a forum for news and commentary about the film and books. After the Tuesday event, I received numerous emails from friends from other countries that sent me support and prayers as well new information about 2001 or 2010. Life goes on. We Americans overcome our tragedies and failures; this is when we shine. Regardless of your political opinion that created this disaster, there is no excuse what happen Tuesday. But there is no excuse to move on and continue what we do in life. If we don't then they've won. That's what terrorism is about.
I have a lot of interesting news about 2001 and 2010 next week. I also opened up the spaceship category but it's only half way done. Please excuse the broken links. I should have the remaining pages finished by next week.
Let's continue to move forward into the 21st Century and welcome all neighbors on Earth to explore space, to meet other people from other worlds for peace and prosperity.
