| Sep 4, 2002: Greetings from Dennis Gonzales I took August off from the newsletter because of the Flash work in the blueprint category of the Technology & Science section is still in the works and I’ve been burning the midnight oil at NASA on some websites. But this week, we’ve updated the site because you, the fans have been sending me "Space Odyssey" related news for the World Tonight and we have more old/new photos to share with you. Website Updates: IPIX.Com has given the "2001: A Space Odyssey Collectible Exhibits" website permission to post the International Space Station tour for our "2001: Destination Space" exhibit category in the exhibits section. iPIX is a way to view 360-degrees which makes you feel like you're inside the picture. The space station kiosk at the Tech Museum gave the visitor a virtual experience what is like on a real space station in the year 2001. I like to thank Stu Roberson from iPIX for helping us to share this remarkable technology for our visitors and relive the exhibition: http://www.2001exhibit.org/exhibits/usa3/exhibit20b.html We’ve added more Capt. Cardboard Aries pictures in our Aries and model category in the arts section. The new pictures will reveal the inside passenger section and electronic components: http://www.2001exhibit.org/arts/models/dennis_aries2.html We’ve also added a new fan posting in the gallery category in the arts section by Mark Watson and I. This picture was taken during the our Aries photo session over one year ago. The picture has been altered for your enjoyment: One more Space Station 5 female uniform picture has been added to the costume page in the fashion category: 3 new articles have been added to the furnishing category featuring set designs from science fiction classics, Soylent Green, Silent Running and Space:1999: The World Tonight Newsletter: HAL 9000 UPDATE: Mike Jackson, HAL Screensaver: "2001" TV/Movie Alert: Our Sitemaps are updated: The World Tonight Newsletter: Or Please continue to send anything you have on "2001/2010" news to report for the World Tonight! I’m also looking for pictures from the Tech Museum to share on my website if you were there last year. Until then… Iím looking for talented model makers and digital artists to help me design and build spaceships and other technology from Sir Arthur C. Clarkeís "2061" and "3001" books. The request is part of my campaign to convince moviemakers the importance of bringing the books to the big screen. And using this website is a palette in behalf of Sir Arthur C. Clarke. For more information, please contact me.
