2001:Destination Space
Robert Emmett's Thoughtline

In August of 2001, exhibit consultant, Dennis Gonzales, organized The Tech Museum's "2001:Destination Space" radio-Internet show with program host, Robert Emmett on KFJC 89.7 FM, Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, California. The show were designed to promote the 2001: A Space Odyssey and Robert T. McCall exhibition in San Jose, California. The program were not only broadcast in the San Francisco Bay Area but also on the web (www.kfjc.org). The show featured Dennis Gonzales, Dr. David Stork, editor of HAL's Legacy, 2001's Computer as Dream and Reality. Special guests were Dr. Arthur C. Clarke, Frederick Ordway and Harry Lange. The show was a full 60 minutes of interesting scientific facts, information, and memorable discussions about 2001.We've provided samples from the CD in WAV and MPG format:
